IEC60309-1 Green Car Accessories Mechanical Strength Impact Test
Apparatus
Equipment Introduction:
The test equipment is designed and manufactured according to
IEC60309-1: 2012 clause 24.2 and figure 7, etc. It is used to
verify the mechanical strength of the vehicle plugs, socket-outlets
and couplers accessories.
The experimental principle is that after the gravitational
potential energy is converted into kinetic energy, the equivalent
mass impact weights will be freely released at a certain height to
achieve the required impact energy.
The mounting bracket can be adjusted in three-axis, front and back,
up and down, and left and right, which has strong applicability.
Technical Parameters:
Operation Method | Manual operation |
Impact Weight | 50*16mm; 304# stainless steel 0.25Kg impact weights |
Combined Impact Weight | 0.5Kg (low energy) (2 pieces of 0.25Kg weights), 1Kg (high energy) (4 pieces of 0.25Kg weights) |
Impact Energy | 1~6J (The impact weights can be interchangeable) |
Hammer Anvil | Ф50 mm |
Impact Angle | 25°, 35°, 36°, 42°, 47°, 52° |
Pendulum Support Structure | Can move back and forth, left and right, up and do and can rotate
90° |
Pendulum Material | Steel pipe with outer diameter of 10 mm and wall thickness of 1.0
mm |
Pendulum Length | 1m, from the pivot to the center of the impact element |
Mounting Plate | 8mm thick stainless-steel plate, made according to the customer's
specified aperture and position, default one set |
Impact Height | 776mm, 833mm |
Vertical Backboard Material | Plywood |
X/Y/Z Axis Stroke | Movable range is greater than 300 mm |
Counterweight and impact energy:
Choose the counterweight and drop angle according to the impact
energy. If the impact energy is ≤2J, add two counterweights at the
upper hole position and with one weight on each side, the total
mass is 0.5kg; if the impact energy is >2J, add two more
counterweights at the lower hole position and with two weights on
each side, the total mass is 1Kg.
Counterweights of the impact energy and the impact angle are shown
in following Table:
Impact energy(J) | Counterweights(Kg) | Release angle |
1 | 0.5 | 25° |
2 | 0.5 | 35° |
3 | 1 | 36° |
4 | 1 | 42° |
5 | 1 | 47° |
6 | 1 | 52° |
