5A02 Aluminum Bar Round Square Extrusion Hexagonal Rod Aluminium Profile
According to the different metal elements
contained in aluminum rods, aluminum rods can be roughly divided
into 8 categories, that is, 9 series:
① 4000 series aluminum rod represents 4A01
4000 series aluminum rod belongs to the series with higher silicon
content. The silicon content is usually between 4.5 and 6.0%.
Belongs to construction materials, mechanical parts, forging
materials, welding materials; Low melting point, good corrosion
resistance, heat resistance, wear resistance.
② 5000 series aluminum rod represents 5052,
5005, 5083, 5A05 series. 5000 SERIES ALUMINUM ROD belongs to the
more commonly used alloy aluminum rod series, the main element is
magnesium, magnesium content between 3-5%. Can also be called
aluminum magnesium alloy. The main characteristics are low density,
high tensile strength, high elongation. The weight of
aluminum-magnesium alloy is lower than that of other series under
the same area, and it is widely used in conventional industry.
③ 6000 series aluminum rod represents 6061,
6063 mainly contains magnesium and silicon two elements, suitable
for corrosion resistance, oxidation requirements of high
applications. Good usability, easy coating, good processing.
④ 7000 series aluminum rod on behalf of 7075
mainly contains zinc elements. Also belongs to the aviation series,
is aluminum magnesium zinc copper alloy, is a heat treatable alloy,
belongs to the super hard aluminum alloy, has good wear resistance.
8000 series aluminum rod is more commonly used for 8011 belongs to
other series, most applications for aluminum foil.
