Brandt PXL series shale shaker screens effectively and efficiently separate unwanted solids from the drilling fluid. These screens have been designed with new technology, resulting in accurate cut point, larger screening area, longer screen life, and are compliant with API RP 13C.

Scalping screen is designed to separate the larger solids particles to improve the drilling efficiency. Typical scalping screen configurations for HDD applications range from API 50 to API 100. This will ensure the screens are properly sized that just coarse enough to let the fluid pass by without overpass, saving the valuable drilling fluid.

Typical fine screen configurations range from API 120 to API 170. The API 13C classification is gaining traction in the HDD industry as more contractors focus on the micron cut point they are trying to achieve in their fluid.
