The rubber strip seal on the shale shaker screen reduce the friction between the shaker screens and the screen deck and absorb the shocks caused by drilling mud falling on the screen. Also serves to keep the screen in place.

Equipped with advanced Rubber Strip Seal Extruder, the melt rubber particles are extruded onto the screen back, not only make one whole seal strip along the screen side, but also adhere the seal strip firmly, and this is just one of the advantages that set our screens apart from others.

Different shaker screens will request different rubbers. For example, the Model 2000 shaker screen only needs to adhere the rubber seal to the screen back, while Model 500 shaker screen needs to adhere the rubber seal both screen back and screen sides, to limit the drilling fluids bypass.
