Compact Press Force Load Cell FCLB is made of stainless steel based on strain gauge technology which offers 0-50N / 0-100N / 0-200N / 0-500N / 0-1000N / 0-2000N / 0-5000N seven rated measuring ranges to choose from, miniature press force sensor FCLB utilizes 1000ohms strain gauges to deliver better stability with lower power consumption compared to commonly used 350ohms gages.Compact design makes button type load cell FCLB suitable for compression force measurement applications with limited mounting space. A load cell (or loadcell) is a transducer which converts force into
a measurable electrical output. Although there are many varieties
of loadcells, strain gauge load cells are the most commonly used
type which is comprised of a solid metal body on which
strain gauges have been secured to form a wheatstone bridge which
delivers mV/V output.
Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of press load cell FCLB is around 1.5mV/V.
Power supply is normally within 3-12V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of button load cell FCLB is normally within
0...+18mV.
Example: Button Load Cell FCLB-500N with 1.5mV/V sensitivity
powered by 5V DC,the output range is 0~7.5mV.
A signal conditioner can be used to convert mV signal into
0-5V/0-10V/4-20mA for easy signal processing.
Example: Load Button Load Cell FCLB-2kN working with amplifier FSC(0-10V)-24V, the
force-voltage relationship will be 0-2000N compression
