Miniature compression sensor FMXD is available in 0-100N / 0-300N / 0~500N / 0-1kn four rated measuring ranges with maximum 0.1% F.S. non-linearity, it offers an accurate & low cost measurement solution for high volume applications.The 5.1mm thru hole located in the center of load cell can be used to mounting attachments to adapt to different applications. With its compact design, low profile press load cell force sensor FMXD is suitable for applications where vertical space is limited, it is ideal for use in robotics, process control and automotive applications,etc..Custom made service is available for other measuring ranges with similar structure.

A load cell (or loadcell) is a transducer which converts force into
a measurable electrical output. Although there are many varieties
of loadcells, strain gauge load cells are the most commonly used
type which is comprised of a solid metal body on which
strain gauges have been secured to form a wheatstone bridge which
delivers mV/V output.A Wheatstone bridge is a network of four resistive legs. One or
more of these legs can be active sensing elements. The Wheatstone
bridge is the electrical equivalent of two parallel voltage divider
circuits. R1 and R2 compose one voltage divider circuit, and R4 and
R3 compose the second voltage divider circuit. The output of a
Wheatstone bridge is measured between the middle nodes of the two
voltage dividers,under constant power supply, the output signal
between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally,thus the
load/force/weight can be measured by measuring the output signal
from the wheatstone bridge.
