Low Profile Compression Load Cell FCCK offers 0-1kN / 0-500N / 0-200N / 0-100N / 0-50N five rated measuring ranges to choose from. A load cell (or loadcell) is a transducer which converts force into
a measurable electrical output. Although there are many varieties
of loadcells, strain gauge load cells are the most commonly used
type which is comprised of a solid metal body on which
strain gauges have been secured to form a wheatstone bridge which
delivers mV/V output.
Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output is normally within 1mV/V~3mV/V.
Power supply is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the load cell output signal is normally within
0-45mV(-45mV...+45mV for bidirectional load cell).
Example one: FCCK-100N with 1.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 10V
DC,the output range is 0~10mV.
Example two: FCCK-200N with 1.0mV/V sensitivity powered by
3.3V DC,the output range is 0~3.3mV.
Load cell + Signal amplifier:
A signal conditioner can be used to convert mV signal into
0-5V/0-10V/4-20mA for easy signal processing.
Example one: Thin load cell FCCK-50N working with amplifier
FSC(0-5V)-24V,the load-voltage relationship will be 0-50N load
VS 0-5V output.
Example two: Miniature load cell FCCK-1kN working with amplifier FSC(4-20mA)-24V,the load-current relationship will be 0-1000N load VS 4-20mA output.
