Brief
Silica gel desiccant is with chemical composition and physical structure, it possesses many advantages as desiccant, is utilized in the guard against damp of High-quality product such as consumer shoes, electric appliance, machine, and food.
Silica Gel Desiccant is is a high-activity sorbent, which is the result through chemical reaction between sodium silicate and sulfuric acid and then ageing and sour bathing.
Absolute adsorption rate is up to 30% of its own weight(25℃,RH=90%).
Silica-gel is an amorphous substance. It features a stable chemical property and never reacts with any substance except the alkali and hydrofluoric acid.

A: During the container shipment, there is a great difference in temperature and humidity. The humidity can be moved to approximately 98%.When the temperature inside the container is lowered, the air will reach the dew point, and the water will condense. This is when fungus, mold and mildew occurs, damaging the goods. Worse yet, if the water condenses on the surface of metal products corrosion occurs.
Container desiccant is mainly used to reduce the air humidity in container which cause by transportation or storage. Make sure your cargo in a perfect condition when shipping.
