Introduction:

 

Hongum specializes in precision die cut and molded silicone rubber gaskets and seals for applications and industries worldwide. Silicone rubber is a high-performance elastomer with exceptional resistance to temperature extremes. Silicone molded and die cut gaskets remain functional within a temperature range of -67°F to +400°F, intermittent to +450°F. The low temperature flexibility of silicone is unmatched by any other elastomer. Silicone gaskets are often chosen due to their excellent resistance to chemicals, water, fire, fungal growth, ozone, heat and aging. Silicone has outstanding tensile strength, elongation, tear strength, and compression set. The versatility and long service life of silicone make it ideal for a wide variety of applications.

 

Hongum provides precision die cut and molded fluorosilicone rubber gaskets and seals. Similar to silicone, fluorosilicone (fluorinated silicone rubber) is intended for applications where there is contact with petroleum-based chemicals. However fluorosilicone can withstand more extreme temperatures and has superior chemical resistance properties to fuels, coolants and oils than standard silicone.

 

The main products of rubber sealing gaskets are: silicone pads, nitrile rubber pads, fluorine rubber pads, and other rubber pads.

 

 

 

Die Cut Silicone Gaskets

 

Hongum provides die cut silicone gaskets in a wide variety of grades, thicknesses, and hardness. The standard thickness of silicone rubber ranges from .010″ to 1″ thick. Silicone rubbers hardness (durometer) typically spans from 30 to 80 durometer, Shore A. We inventory a full spectrum of colors including red/orange, black, gray, blue, white, and translucent. Silicone rubber gaskets are available with or without acrylic or high temperature pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing.

 

 

Gasket Professional:

 

The sealing washer is affected by the material and process of the threaded fasteners, and most of the supporting surfaces of the fastened parts of the bolts will not be very large, thus reducing the pressure to protect the surface. In order to prevent the loosening of the connection pair, anti-loose sealing spring washers, multi-tooth locking sealing washers, round nut stop sealing washers and wave-shaped and conical elastic washers are used. The gasket is mainly used to reduce the pressure. When some parts are tightened with a large axial force, the gasket is easy to be pressed into a dish shape. At this time, it can be solved by changing the material and increasing the hardness.
The sealing effect of the sealing DSH spring washer is average, and the important parts are used less or not as much as possible, and the self-locking structure is adopted. For high-speed tightening pneumatic sealing spring washers, it is better to use surface-treated washers to improve its wear-reducing performance, otherwise it is easy to burn out or open due to friction and heat, and even damage the surface of the connected parts.
Gasket construction should not be used with respect to sheet joints. According to the analysis, the spring sealing washer is used less and less in the car. Due to the large and uniform locking force, the connecting tooth shape in the tooth-shaped sealing elastic gasket is used more in the automotive industry, while the spaced tooth shape is less.
