Drilling Rig Spare Parts Drag Bit For Water Well Drilling
Product Description:
A drag bit is a drill bit usually designed for use in soft formations such as sand, clay, or some soft rock. However, they will not work well in coarse gravel or hard rock formations. Uses include drilling water wells, mining, geothermal, jet grouting ,environmental and exploration drilling. Whenever possible, they should be used to drill pilot holes because they produce cuttings that are easiest to log.
Drag bits are economical tools when drilling softer geological formations and shallower depths. Sinodrills is the biggest supplier of drag bits in China, we supply both step drag bits and chevron drag bits. Chevron drag bits are usually used for drilling more abrasive formations like soft sandstons and shales. Chevron drag bits are more durable than step drag bits because of cutting structuer, but penetrate more slowly. We offer a comprehensive range of step drag bits as below:

Why our drag bit design is strengthened & robust:
1, bits' body and wings are integrated casting instead of welding them together ;
2, Copper brazing tungsten carbide insertion welding technology instead of silver soldering. Copper brazing make the tungsten carbide very hard to drop and break.Meanwhile ,in the brazing process,the wings get a good hot treatment also.
3, Use high grade carbide inserts only;
4, More steps,more rapider penetration ;
5, The wings are thickened.
