The TNC series product is designed as a threaded version of the BNC connector. The TNC RF connectors feature screw threads for mating. These miniature, threaded waterproof units have a constant 50Ohm impedance and operate from DC-11GHz. There are two types of TNC connectors: standard and reverse polarity. These low-cost connectors typically utilize die-cast and molded components. While their performance may not be equal to industrial or high-quality grade products, these connectors are ideal for use in various commercial applications. Widely used for antenna connections, TNCs have many applications in avionics, defense, communications, and general industrial markets. Reverse polarity and 75Ohm TNCs are also available.

Impedance of 50Ohms: It exhibits excellent performance across the entire DC-11GHz frequency range.
Frequency range: The optimal operating frequency range is 0-11GHz, providing wider application possibilities compared to the BNC connector (suitable for frequencies up to 4GHz). In the microwave frequency band, the TNC connector even outperforms the BNC connector.
Two types of TNC connectors are available: standard and reverse polarity. The reverse polarity type can further be divided into a 75Ohm version.
Widely used for antenna connections, TNC connectors have numerous applications in avionics, defense, communications, and general industrial markets. They are also compatible with various types of RF cables such as RG 174, RG 188, RG 316, etc.
