TNC Male Right Angle RF Plug for SFCJ-50-7-51 RF Cable Type in Communication
The TNC series product is designed as a threaded version of the BNC connector. The TNC RF connectors feature screw threads for mating. These connectors are miniature, threaded, and waterproof units with a constant 50 Ohm impedance, operating from DC to 11 GHz. There are two types of TNC connectors: standard and reverse polarity. These low-cost connectors typically utilize die-cast and molded components. While their performance may not be equal to industrial or high-quality grade products, these connectors are ideal for use in various commercial applications. Widely used for antenna connections, TNC connectors have many applications in avionics, communications, and general industrial markets. Reverse polarity and 75Ohm TNC connectors are also available.

Application:
The applications of TNC connectors are wide-ranging and diverse. Firstly, they are commonly used in environments that require shock resistance, such as in mobile communication devices, due to their excellent vibration performance. Secondly, this type of connector provides reliable performance at high frequencies without the convenience of bayonet connections. In addition, due to its characteristic impedance of 50 ohms and optimal operating frequency range of DC-11GHz, TNC connectors are particularly suitable for connecting coaxial cables in radio frequency applications. Finally, in addition to the above applications, TNC connectors are also widely used in radio equipment and instruments.
Detailed Drawing of 50Ohm TNC Male Plug RF Coaxial Connector for .086 Cable:
Unit:(mm)
Features:
It has a characteristic impedance of 50 ohms and an optimal operating frequency range of DC-11GHz, making it ideal for connecting coaxial cables in radio frequency applications.
They use a threaded connection method, which not only provides secure and reliable mating connections but also makes the connectors excellent for withstanding vibrations in environments where they may be subjected to shocks.
The TNC connector is similar to BNC and N-type connectors but is more flexible and practical, especially in high-frequency and broadband data applications.
In the microwave frequency range, the performance of the TNC connector can even surpass that of the BNC connector due to its sturdier screw or thread arrangement.
Typically, TNC connectors may be used in radio equipment and electronic instruments to provide reliable mechanical and electrical performance.
