The heat treatment method for railway wheels, according to the process sequence, the heat treatment method includes a high temperature normalizing process at 890 ° C ~ 910 ° C after rolling, a two-stage quenching heating process at 740 ° C ~ 760 ° C + 890 ° C ~ 910 ° C, and 510 ° C. Water cooling process after tempering at ±10°C. The above technical scheme is used to refine and homogenize the original structure and improve the toughness of railway wheels; the two-stage quenching heating method is adopted to increase the heating speed of the two-phase region with a high furnace gas temperature, and limit the austenite with a short heating time. Tempering time; rapid water cooling after tempering can eliminate temper brittleness, and water cooling after tempering can also change stress distribution and improve fatigue performance. Has a good ratio of strength and toughness.
The induction hardening device mainly includes a heating device, a transmission device, a retractable support frame, a water tank, a base, and a power supply column. The heating device is fixed on the power supply column; the transmission device is fixed on the base and the water tank. The heating device includes a profiling coil, a positive electrode connector, a negative electrode connector, and a U-shaped magnetic conductor. The U-shaped magnetic conductor is installed on the profiling coil, and the positive connecting piece and the negative connecting piece are a set of horizontal flat plates, which are fixed on the power supply column. The transmission device includes rollers, belts, and motors. The roller is installed on the water tank, the motor is installed on the base, and the roller and the motor are driven by a belt. Install the railway wheel on the retractable support frame, start the motor, the power is transmitted to the roller by the belt, and the roller drives the railway wheel to rotate. When the power is turned on, the railway wheel is heated by the profiling coil, and the heated part is rotated to the water tank for cooling and quenching.
A railway wheel cooling device belongs to the technical field of railway wheels. The device includes a quenching table and a plurality of spray guns uniformly arranged along its circumference, and the spray guns include a water outlet panel and a water inlet branch pipe. The water outlet panel is provided with large nozzles and small nozzles with different diameters. The small nozzles are controlled by a branch pipe alone, and the large nozzles are divided into upper and lower parts, which are controlled by different branch pipes. It can conveniently adjust the strength of the cooling water sprayed to the wheel, and improve the cooling uniformity of the wheel rim in the radial and axial directions.
