The gauge tie rod is to connect two rails at the bottom of the rail
with a rod to improve the lateral stability of the rail and improve
the ability of the rail to maintain the gauge. Some lines have
track circuits separated by insulating parts in the gauge rods.

In the small radius curve section, in order to strengthen the
lateral rigidity of the track, six technical states of
strengthening components are set. are described as follows
State 1: Standard strengthening state, that is, 18 gauge tie rods
and 18 pairs of rail braces are laid between the 25-meter rails.
State 2: One gauge tie rod fails continuously, that is, 9 gauge tie
rods and 18 pairs of rail braces are laid between the 25-meter
rails.
State 3: 2 gauge tie rods fail continuously, that is, 6 gauge tie
rods and 18 pairs of rail braces are laid between the 25-meter
rails.
State 4: 3 gauge posts fail continuously, that is, 5 gauge bars and
18 pairs of rail braces are laid between the 25-meter rails.
State 5: One pair of rail braces fails continuously, that is, 18
gauge tie rods and 9 pairs of rail braces are laid between the
25-meter rails.
State 6: One pair of rail braces fails continuously, and one gauge
tie rod fails continuously, that is, 9 gauge tie rods and 9 pairs
of rail braces are laid between the 25-meter rails.
