Vertical flame test on FR fabric
Hold one end of the flame retardant fabric sample vertically, apply
a prescribed gas flame to the free end of the sample,
and evaluate the combustion performance of the flame retardant
fabric by measuring the linear burning speed and flame
or flameless burning time to evaluate the combustion performance of
flame retardant fabrics.
Flame retardant grade EN standard
1. Vertical combustion method, burning 12 seconds and see the
carbon damage length,which is cann't exceed 10cm.
2. After leaving the fire source extinguished within 2 seconds.
3. Wash 50 times(The flame retardant performance is still available
after 24 hours of continuous washing in industrial washing
machines)
4. Formaldehyde(Coat cannot exceed 300ppm, underwear/child cloth
cannot exceed 75ppm)
