If you are making a decision about what cartons to use in your packaging, you may be considering the difference between cardboard and paperboard when it comes to recycling. Many people assume that because both cardboard and paperboard are paper products that they are recycled the same way or together. In reality, cardboard and paperboard are two very different products that have different recycling rules.
What is the Difference?
The difference in paperboard and cardboard cartons lies in how they
are constructed. Paperboard is thicker than average paper, but it
is still just one layer. Cardboard is three layers of heavy paper,
two flat with a wavy one in the middle. Because they have different
layers of paper and different weights, these two products cannot be
recycled together or in the same way.
Which One is More Recycle Friendly?
While both paperboard and cardboard cartons are recyclable, it is
often easier to recycle cardboard. Most communities have recycle
programs for cardboard, glass, plastics, and other items. However,
paper recycling and paperboard recycling centers can be difficult
for your customers to find. If you want your customers to be able
to easily recycle, you might consider cardboard.
Similarities
There are some similarities in the rules with paperboard and
cardboard. In both cases, the surface must be clean and dry to
avoid contamination. In both cases, other items cannot be recycled
with them; they must be recycled alone. Both types of cartons are
as easily recycled or biodegradable as the other.

Q2: How can I get a die cut or sample? What is the lead time for sample and Mass Production?

1. We normally provide a die cut in 24 hours, after getting confirmation on your artwork, we will provide a sample in 1-7 working days.
2. The lead time for mass production based on your orders quantity, finishing, etc., usually 7~15 working days is enough.
Q3: Can you design boxes?
A3: Yes. We can design boxes for you. It includes box structural, insert, box outside artwork, box style, and more. You just provide pictures, a logo, etc. Others, we can do for you. Our professional team provides a whole packaging solution for you.
Q4: How to make sure all the box quality is good?
A4: Our QC workers check each box one by one very carefully and they put their QC numbers into master cartons. It is better for us to track each product's quality.
Q5: Can you assemble my products into the boxes?
A5: Yes. We can. If you purchase rigid boxes in our company, we suggest you ship the inside products to our factory, then we assemble the products into the boxes. If you purchase cardboard boxes in our company, we suggest that we ship the cardboard boxes into your product supplier to pack.
