Leader pins is a guide element used with components in
the mold to ensure that the mold moves with precise positioning and
guides the mold travel. It is usually cylindrical with shoulder
and have some oil grooves.The tail is designed as a conical
surface to ensure it accurately enters the guide bushings.

Material
The material of guide pins usually uses bearing steel, die
steel and so on. The bearing steel SUJ2 material which made
of vacuum refining process, stable heat treatment size, low
quenching stress, reduced deformation and cracking tendency, high
toughness and wear resistance after low temperature tempering,
greatly improved service life.
