First, the raw material or matrix is soaked in the solvent. For
maximum extraction, the material is first grounded.
The resulting solution, made up of the solvent and the components
meant to be extracted, is then evaporated using heat and vacuum.

Finally, the crude extract can either be distilled or is further
refined to create a purified final extract.
