► Brief Introduction
COVIDIEN Nellcorrr Pulse Oximetry Interface Cable DOC-10 is an assembly consisting of the parts of the SpO2 sensor.
Connect the cables prior to attaching to the monitor. An SpO2 reading will be displayed within moments of attaching the sensor to either a Nellcorrr simulator or to your finger.

The SpO2 probe has a built-in sensor. When the SpO2 sensor is connected to the SpO2 connector and the patient, the probe senses heart rate and oxygen saturation. Analog signals are directed to SpO2 PWA (Nellcorrr or Masi-mo). Analog signals are analyzed on SpO2 PWA. Results are numbered and sent to the main panel via optics interfaces. The hooks provide patient isolation as well as a serial data interface. The main panel temporarily stores data and directs it to the user interface panel for viewing and/or printer.

► Cleaning
Clean the surface of the SpO2 sensor before and after each patient is used. Clean the SpO2 sensor with a slightly wet cloth with a mild cleaner. Wipe the SpO2 sensor to ensure that all detergent residues are removed.
