MUX & demux is a wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) based combiner / demultiplexer board, which multiplexes multiple standard DWDM or CWDM wavelengths on the same optical fiber for transmission. The demultiplexing board is used to demultiplex multiple standard DWDM or CWDM wavelengths transmitted on a single fiber.
