High precision sapphire crystal conical block, sapphire laser beauty instrument for light guide block
Why choose the sapphire?
1- Thinner and Stronger than Standard Glass Windows
2- Transmits Wavelengths Ranging From UV to Mid-Infrared
3- Features Extreme Surface Hardness and Chemical Resistance
Sapphire glass.
Similar to corundum, hardness is 9, can be added to a variety of
chemical elements, to generate a variety of colors.
The commonly used one is colorless.
Its advantages are higher than ordinary glass hardness, the price
is relatively high, mainly used for the production of high-grade
watch table mirror.
Sapphire glass/ruby glass has very good thermal properties,
excellent electrical properties and dielectric properties, and
chemical corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, good
thermal conductivity, high hardness, infrared, good chemical
stability.
Therefore, it is commonly used to replace other optical materials
to make optical components and infrared penetrating optical
Windows, and is widely used in infrared and far infrared military
equipment, such as:
Used in night vision infrared and far infrared sight, night vision
cameras and other instruments and instrument of satellite, space
technology and used as the window of the high power laser, all
kinds of optical lens, optical window, UV and IR window, lens, low
temperature experimental observations of the mouth, with a high
precision instruments and meters in maritime aerospace applications
are fully.

Sapphire Windows are manufactured from single crystal sapphire, making them ideal for demanding applications (such as laser systems) because of their extreme surface hardness, high thermal conductivity, high dielectric constant and resistance to common chemical acids and alkalis. Sapphire is the second hardest crystal next to diamonds and, because of their structural strength, sapphire windows can be made much thinner than other common dielectric windows with improved transmittance. Chemically, sapphire is single crystal aluminum oxide (Al2O3), and is useful in a transmission range from 0.2 - 5.5µm
What is sapphire?
Synthetic Sapphire is a single crystal form of corundum, Al2O3, also known as alpha-alumina, and single crystal Al2O3,have 9.0 hardness.
Sapphire is aluminium oxide in the purest form with no porosity or grain boundaries, making it theoretically dense.
The combination of favourable chemical, electrical, mechanical, optical, surface, thermal, and durability properties make sapphire a preferred material for high performance system and component designs. For various semiconductor applications,
sapphire is the best choice in comparison with other synthetic single-crystals.
