Metal cable shortage

With ethernet connections being only point to point, GPONs clear advantage is it being point to multipoint as well as offering higher downstream speeds then EPON/GEPON.

NTW-G19008C2 series is a high integration and high bandwidth smart cassette 8 ports GPON OLT designed for operators access and enterprise campus network. NTW-G19008C2 provides 8 downlink 1000M GPON ports, 4GE Ethernet ports and 2 * 10G uplink ports. The height is only 1U for easy installation and space saving. It adopts the advanced technology, offering efficient GPON solution. It can support different ONU hybrid networking which help save a lot of cost for operators.
