Introduction
S-HP5-T series of Thick Mica Plate is Rigid Mica Plate with thickness over 2mm, it is mica laminates designed for providing outstanding resistant to high voltage and to high temperature.
S-HP5-T series has two species:
S-HP5-T1: Muscovite Thick Mica Plate, Silver color, Heat resistance: 500℃/932°F (In constant operation), 800℃/1382°F (in intermittent operation) .
S-HP5J-T2: Phlogopite Thick Mica Plate, Golden/Amber color, Heat resistance: 800℃/1382°F (In constant operation), 1000℃ /1832°F (in intermittent operation) .
Properties
Relative to general insulation material, the prominent advantages of the extra-thick mica plate are:
◆ Superior heat insulation performance, fire-resistance up to temperature of 500℃-800℃, low thermal conductivity;
◆ Oil and corrosion-proof, environmental protection and non-toxic, as the alternatives of asbestos;
◆ High bending strength . It can be processed by lathe, milling machine, drilling machine into various shaped piece
without layer separating.

Thickness: 3mm~50mm
Length×Width: 1000×600mm 1000×1200mm 1000×2400mm
Note: The product less than 2.0mm thickness can be formed by stamping. The products larger than 2.0mm shall be processed by turning, milling, drilling and other processes.
Packing
One pack is 50kg in general. The product is sealed usually with plastic film and packed in carton. The fumigation-free pallet shall be used when exporting. Each pallet contains <1000KG or protected by metal drum.
Storage
Stored in dry and moisture-proof indoor place at room temperature, there is no service life limit.
Application
Cylindrical resistance heaters, thermal insulation in circuit breakers,
chemical-engineering and electric appliances, electric sterilized cabinet, and
in steel or metallurgy industry for intermediate frequency furnace, arcfurnace, etc.
