NdFeB magnet is tetragonal crystal of Nd, Fe and B (Nd2Fe14B). In 1982, Mr. satakawa discovered neodymium magnet(NdFeB magnet). The BHmax of this magnet was larger than SmCo magnet’s, and it was the largest material in the world at that time. Now, this magnet is a permanent magnet that its magnetism is second only to absolute zero degree holmium magnet, and it is also the most commonly used rare earth magnet. NdFeB magnets are widely used in electronic products, such as hard disks, mobile phones, earphones and battery powered tools. In order to avoid corrosion damage, it is necessary to protect the surface of permanent magnetic materials by using electroplating with gold, nickel, zinc and tin, and spraying epoxy resin on the surface.
