The PT-SD80 displacement stage has a square table size of 108.0 by 108.0mm. In addition to the SM1 threaded through hole, the displacement table has a series of M6, M4 and 4-40 threaded hole arrays for the installation of samples and components. Eight 4-40 threaded holes around the central screw hole are used for our 30mm or 60mm cage system integration.
Why do we choose 7075 aluminum alloy as the material for our linear displacement stage?
Because 7075 has superior mechanical properties, as well as good ductility, high strength, toughness, and good fatigue resistance. Under the same volume, 7075 has a 64% and 58% increase in fatigue strength and cloth hardness compared to 6061, and a 85% and 82% increase in tensile strength and strength to weight ratio, respectively.
