Differential head is a adjusting positioning device, the minimum can be adjusted to micron, also known as micrometer head, micrometer head, micro card head; The differential head is composed of an immovable part mounting sleeve, a shaft sleeve and a movable part measuring rod, a differential cylinder and a fine tuning knob.
Differential head use: micrometer head in the experiment is used to produce displacement and indicate the displacement of the tool. Before the general micrometer head is used, first turn the differential cylinder to 10mm (in order to retain the allowance for the forward and rear displacement of the measuring rod shaft), and then install the main ruler horizontal line on the micrometer head sleeve facing itself on the special bracket. Move the mounting sleeve of the micrometer head (the micrometer head moves as a whole) so that the measuring rod is connected with the measured body and the measured body is in an appropriate position (depending on the specific experiment), then tighten the fastening screw on the bracket. When the differential cylinder of the micrometer head is turned, the measured body is moved with the rod.
