. Basic introduction of chemical rotary kiln(Cement rotary kiln)

Chemical rotary kiln, this equipment is mainly used for calcining chemical clinker, and it is divided into two categories: dry production chemical kiln and wet production chemical kiln. Chemical rotary kilns are mainly used for magnetization roasting of lean iron ore in iron and steel plants in the metallurgical industry; oxidative roasting of chromium and nickel iron ore; roasting of high alumina vanadium ore in refractory plants and clinker and aluminum hydroxide in aluminium plants; and chrome ore powder and other minerals.

 

. Working process of chemical rotary kiln(Cement rotary kiln)

The raw ore is directly fed into the kiln tail of the rotary kiln through electronic belt weighing scales, belt conveyors, stabilizing bins, and air lock valves. The kiln tail is only equipped with stabilizing bins to reduce investment. The ore enters the rotary kiln to be heated first, and the raw ore moves in the reverse direction with the hot air flow in the kiln. In the heating zone, the raw ore is heated to the reduction temperature and then enters the reduction zone. The temperature of the flame center in the reduction zone is controlled at about 1000 °C, and the temperature of the hot atmosphere in the reduction zone is controlled at about 700 °C to react with the reducing gas to reduce to magnetite. Then it enters the cooling zone and meets the incoming gas, the gas is preheated, the ore is cooled and discharged out of the kiln, and after being water-cooled by a continuous bucket conveyor, it is stored in the storage for selection.

 

. Features of chemical rotary kiln equipment(Cement rotary kiln)

(1) Supporting device: It adopts advanced main shaft structure, is equipped with automatic temperature measuring device and electric heating device, and also has flow support for selection;

(2) Blocking wheel device: divided into two types: mechanical wheel and hydraulic thrust blocking wheel. The hydraulic stopper device is equipped with an advanced hydraulic control system;

(3) Transmission device: with single transmission or double transmission. DC motor or frequency conversion motor to control the speed, reliable operation, energy saving and high efficiency;

(4) Sealing device of chemical rotary kiln: There are various sealing forms to choose from according to the different designs of the kiln. Cylinder pressing end face seal, spring pressing end face seal, heavy hammer graphite block seal, spring graphite block seal, fish scale labyrinth seal, axial labyrinth seal and combination seals of the above forms, etc. It has strong adaptability and good sealing effect.

 

. Five technical indicators of self-returning steam calciner(Cement rotary kiln)

(1) The production capacity reaches 400~800t/d;

(2) Carbon dioxide concentration in furnace gas: when the furnace head pressure is 50MPA, the furnace gas concentration is over 90% on average;

(3) The product quality has reached the top grade. Product loss on ignition <0.5%;

(4) Soda ash steam consumption: 1.3 tons;

(5) Equipment operation cycle: The continuous operation cycle is more than 6 months, and the heritage equipment does not need to be backed up.

The self-returning soda steam calciner has the characteristics of simple process flow, low investment in equipment and infrastructure, and easy operation, so it has been favored by many experts and manufacturers in the domestic soda industry.

 

. In the initial stage of manufacture of the self-returning alkali steam calciner, due to the limitation of its own structure and manufacturing process, there are the following disadvantages(Cement rotary kiln)

(1) The alkali return is discontinuous, which affects the premixing effect with wet alkali, and produces furnace gas fluctuations at the same time. In turn, it has an impact on the operation of the carbonization tower using furnace gas in the system;

(2) The problem of scarring in the furnace head is prominent, especially at the end of the furnace body and the gas outlet hood. When the scarring is serious, it not only hinders the draft of the gas outlet hood, but also generates a positive pressure in the furnace, and also blocks the alkali return channel, reducing the amount of damage. The amount of alkali return makes the premixing effect worse, and ultimately affects the quality of the product. The furnace must be shut down for cleaning every two days, which not only increases the labor intensity of workers, but also affects the normal operation of the entire system. Cause the alkali dust to fly on the site and the working environment is bad;

(3) The air chamber of the heating system mostly adopts a pie-shaped structure, which is formed by pressing and welding of 35-50mm thick steel plates. And the end of each finned tube is welded with a plug that is not connected to each other. In order to remove the non-condensable gas at the end, there is a non-condensable gas discharge pipe in the finned tube, and the finned tube is often worn with the rotation of the furnace body. greatly shorten its service life;

(4) Furnace seals are divided into spring compression mechanical seals, floating asbestos rope packing or rubber packing seals and floating ring seals. From the point of view of use, the effect of dynamic and static ring mechanical seal air sealing is better, but the effect of alkali sealing is worse; the sealing effect of packing seal is not ideal due to wear and the service life of packing; And installation requirements are high, can not meet the gap requirements, usually can not seal neither alkali nor gas. In addition, because the wet alkali is fed into the furnace by the blaster, and the blaster cannot play a sealing role, air often enters the furnace with the wet alkali, which affects the concentration of the furnace gas.
