HIGH PERFORMANCE NON-INVASIVE VENTILATOR ST-30K with HFNC MODE
Description
Noninvasive ventilation (NIV) supports the patient's breathing without the need for intubation or a tracheotomy. NIV delivers effective therapy with less risk of infection and improved survival in patients with respiratory failure.
Non-invasive ventilation (NIV) is the use of breathing support administered through a face mask, nasal mask, or a helmet. Air, usually with added oxygen, is given through the mask under positive pressure; generally the amount of pressure is alternated depending on whether someone is breathing in or out.
Application
Acute respiratory failure: Non-invasive mechanical ventilation has been increasingly used to avoid or serve as an alternative to intubation. Compared with medical therapy, and in some instances with invasive mechanical ventilation, it improves survival and reduces complications in selected patients with acute respiratory failure.
Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) is characterised by acute onset respiratory failure, diffuse pulmonary opacities and severe hypoxemia. The use of NIV can help to avoid such complications such as a higher incidence of ventilator-associated pneumonia and barotrauma.
Advantage
Maximum inspiratory pressure: 40cm H2O
Max flow:300L/min
Leakage compensation performance, the device offers 120 L/min maximum leakage compensation, it can also achieve a preset target pressure to form a pressure platform to complete accurate trigger and switch.
HFNC (High Flow) mode, 21~100% FiO2, 31~40℃, 10~70L/min air oxygen mixture of humidified gas.
