Airbag for ship launching and lifting is an innovative technology

Marine airbag also known as rubber airbag, ship air bags, ship
launching airbag, ship salvage airbag, boat salvage airbags,
inflatable airbag, ship lifting bag, air balloon, made by rubber
& multi layer of rubber-dipped tyre fabric. Airbags are widely
used in launching and landing ship/ boat/vessel, lifting and moving
heavy goods, salvaging stranded boats. Marine airbags are very

Nowadays, Marine airbag are widely used in the world. The Products
are less limited by space, no large mechanical equipment, can
shorten the working period and save the unnecessary cost. Through
years of development practice, marine rubber airbag is become more
safety, effective and green environmental protection.
1.Hoist and handling airbags:
They can be widely used for handling the various large
prefabricated reinforced-concrete products( such as caisson, box
culvert, bridge), oil drilling equipment and integrated building,
etc.
2. Floating and filling airbags:
The corresponding buoyancy can be offered on the client’s request
during wreck salvage and underwater installation operation. Filling
and floating gasbags can be flexibly combined for wreck salvage,
pontoon bridge installation, dock, above water transmission
pipeline, etc. in many ways such as cabin occupation , etc.
3. Water supply and drain airbag for ship:
It is widely used for water supply and drain engineering for
large-size, medium-size and small –size ships, with labour-saving,
time-saving and physical force -saving.
4. Mandrel airbag:
It can substitute for the wooden or steel mandrel used for pouring
hollow large reinforced concrete structure.
5. Container airbag:
It can be used as the gas or liquid storage and transport
container.
1 High bearing capacity
Inflatable rubber airbag’s main technical requirement is regulated
in CB/T 3795--1996 published by China State Shipbuilding
Corporation.
FL adopts new rubber formula and high-strength enhanced
synthetic-tyre-cord layer, which improves the airbag’s bearing
capacity two times more than CB/T 3795--1996 standard
2 High kneading-resistance capability
When the airbag is rolling under the ship bottom, it will suffer a
“kneading force” from ship bottom and ground because of not uniform
rolling speed, which could case problems like delamination, layer
buckling, etc.
FL improved the manufacturing technique and raw material formula to
strengthen kneading-resistance capability of the airbag and avoid
worse accident .
3 New anti-explosion design of end part
The possibility of air leakage in the joint area of metal part and
rubber part is also increasing as working pressure of airbag is
added. After using for times under high working pressure, the
airbag would burst and metal part would hurt workers.
FL invented new anti-explosion design of the airbag end part,
increasing the bonding strength and air tightness between rubber
body part and end metal part. FL airbag is working very well under
higher working pressure without potential safety hazard.
4 Optimizing structure configuration
FL built a strength and Intensity Model to test compression
performance, stress intensity and direction. After testing for many
times, we got the stress changeing regularity and optimized
structure configuration design. The new optimized airbag
successfully passed blasting experiment and achieved good
performance in practical use.
5 Good Abrasion-resistance performance and high ageing resistance
The airbag is working under bad and poor condition, suffering from
long time sunlight exposure, seawater corrosion, impurities
pollution, etc. The surface of airbag must be equipped with high
capability of abrasion resistance, ageing resistance, corrosion
resistance.

4) Long time not to use or repaired airbag, pressure test is
required before using again; Often use airbags,test once a year.
