Our Factory Mingrui Ceramic Technology  custom various size of  Rod ceramic with diameter 0.5mm 1mm 2mm 3mm ,  the surface is fine polished with good Roughness as fine as
Ra 0.02,  the smallest ceramic rod we can make diameter as thin as 0.4mm ,  tolerance ±0.001mm . 
 
The Making process of rod ceramic : 
1. zirconia powder --- forming--- sintering---machining Outer diameter --- Chamfer ends ---- inspection 
---packing---ship out 

1. Rod ceramic  has the highest strength and toughness at room temperature of all the advanced ceramic materials. The fine grain size allows for extremely smooth surfaces and sharp edges.
 
2. Excellent thermal insulation/low thermal conductivity (2.5 to 3 W/mK),
 
3. Very high resistance to crack propagation, high fracture toughness (6.5 to 8 MPam1/2).

It offers a combination of superior mechanical strength and electrical properties, wear resistance and corrosion resistance. The maximum working temperature is up to 1700 °C with relatively high thermal conductivity. It is also an electrically insulating material with a high electrical resistivity. The good corrosion resistance makes it insoluble in water and slightly soluble in strong acid and alkaline solution.
