Certification Introduction:
DLC certification is a joint organization of the North American
Energy Efficiency organization (NEEP), and the certification is
used to increase incentives for high-efficiency lighting products
in commercial buildings. Some certified products can receive energy
subsidies from DLC member institutions. The cooperative members of
the DLC believe that only products with high quality and high
performance that have undergone rigorous testing and verification
are eligible for energy subsidies. Therefore, they developed the
certification list DLC QPL, limited the scope of subsidies, and
formed a trade barrier in a small area (energy efficiency programs
of public utilities, regional energy stimulus programs and energy
saving programs, etc.) Field blank. On September 8, 2017, the DLC
updated the web design and added a "Future Development Plan"
column. This change will make the DLC project development more
transparent and directional.
On February 14, 2020, the DLC officially released the new standard
DLC SSL V5.0&5.1, and it will be accepted for submission from
February 18, 2020. The transition timetable for the new and old standards is as
follows:
