Inspection report
What is a quality inspection report
The quality inspection report is a safety and performance test for the product, which can be successfully settled on other platforms such as Tmall and JD.com or supermarkets, or is a reference standard for consumers. According to the three-level standards (national standards, ministerial standards and enterprise's own standards), quality assessment is carried out, basic evaluation is made, and the reasons for qualified or unqualified quality are analyzed. This is the main body of the QA report.

Inspection report

Why do we need a quality inspection report?
Common reporting uses:
1. Enter online shopping malls such as JD.com and Tmall.
2. Tendering/competition.
3. Report for project acceptance.
4. Supplier requirements.
5. Publicity reports.
6. Settled in 4S store (general automotive supplies)
7. Reports on shopping needs.
8. Reports required by stores (such as Wal-Mart, Carrefour, Rainbow, Guoanju, B&Q, etc.)

Note: If electronic and electrical products are listed on JD.com or Tmall, you need to first confirm whether the product requires 3C certification. If it is not within the 3C scope, the test report will be useful. If it is within the 3C scope, you need to provide 3C certification first.

Purpose of test report:

1. Determine whether the product quality is qualified;
2. Determine product quality level or severity of defects;
3. Check the process flow and supervise the quality of the process;
4. Collect statistics and analyze quality data to provide basis for quality improvement and quality management activities;
5. Implement arbitration inspection to determine liability for quality accidents.

The meaning of quality inspection report:
1. Provide users with qualified products, expand market share, and thereby reduce quality costs;
2. Obtain qualified raw materials, purchased parts and outsourced parts to ensure the quality of the company's products;
3. Provide basis for the company’s claims;
4. Keeping the process under control can ensure the production of qualified parts.

Project requirements standards
Different products have different test requirements. For example, the quality inspection report requirements for clothing, home textiles, and children's clothing categories include: ingredient content, complete set of GB18401, logo, appearance quality, saliva-resistant color, down content, down filling, raw material requirements, etc. .

application process
Step 1: Determine the scope of product testing
1. Consult the testing agency to explain the product reporting purpose, product characteristics and other information;
2. After receiving an application that meets the requirements, the certification agency will issue an acceptance notice to the applicant and notify the applicant to send or send relevant documents and materials.

Step 2: Sample receipt
1. The sample will be delivered directly to the designated testing agency by the applicant. After the applicant pays, he or she will fill in the payment voucher as required. The testing agency will inspect the collected samples and fill in the sample acceptance report. For unqualified samples, a sample rectification notice will be issued. Fill out the sample acceptance report after rectification.
2. After sample acceptance, the testing agency fills in the sample testing progress form and reports it to the certification agency. After receiving the sample testing progress, the certification agency issues a formal acceptance notice to the applicant and a testing task letter to the testing agency, and the sample testing officially begins.

Step Three: Sample Testing
1. What the enterprise should do during the type test stage is: send test samples, required parts and technical information, understand the test progress, and make timely rectifications if there are unqualified items according to the sample test rectification notice.
2. After the sample test is completed, the testing agency will fill in the sample test result notification, and the testing agency will also transmit the test report and other information to the certification agency.
Application materials
1. Sample preparation: For products involving appearance quality, it is recommended that each type of the same model, same color and same size be prepared.
2. Trademark and brand information
3. If there is a label test, hang tags, washing water labels, certificates, instructions, etc. must be provided.
4. Quality inspection application form
Test report fee, validity period and cycle
How much does it cost to make a test report?

The cost is related to the test products, test items, and test qualifications. Different test products correspond to different testing standards, what they test are also different, and whether they have testing qualifications, so the testing costs will not be different. In addition, the test fees for full inspection and partial inspection of the test standards are also different, so before testing, these issues must be understood clearly.

How long is the test report valid for?
Regarding this issue, it mainly depends on the test products and inspection standards. Generally speaking, as long as the test is not updated, the test unchanged detection report will always be valid. However, there are special circumstances. If it has been used on an e-commerce platform, they generally only recognize it within one year. So this depends on the platform or the buyer’s requirements.

How long does it take to test the inspection report?
Look at the test items. The more test items there are, the longer it will take. The more complicated the test project is, the longer it will take.
