Process:
1.Stamping Molding
Molding the metal surface to form the design.
2.Outline Cutting
The lapel pins are die struck from a copper surface. A die is
created to imprint your design into the metal. The outline of the
pin and any cut-outs are then cut with another mold.
3.Attachment
Attachment is welded on to the back of each piece.
4.Sandblasted

6. Plating
Now plating can be processed with various plating.
7. Epoxy Coating
A clear protective epoxy coating (epoxy dome) can then be applied
to the surface of your pins to protect the image from fading or
peeling off or getting scratched.
8.Inspection
Then each pin is inspected to ensure only the highest quality is
individually packaged and send for final inspection.
Iron or Copper stamped with sandblasted pins are very often used as
promotional giveaways, because they are one of the lowest costs of
all the different types of pin available today, and they are light,
this makes them easy to carry and inexpensive to ship. The surface
of an iron or copper pin maybe covered with epoxy to protect.
