The LM258AST instrumentation amplifier is made up of two
independent, high-gain, internally frequency-compensated
operational amplifiers that are specifically designed to operate
from a single power supply over a wide voltage range. The magnitude
of the power supply voltage has no effect on the low-power supply
drain. Transducer amplifiers, AC-coupled inverting amplifiers, and
all op amp circuits can now be implemented more easily in single
power supply systems.
