Deep groove ball bearings

Deep groove ball bearings (GB/T 276—2003) are originally listed radial ball bearings, which are the most widely used rolling bearings. It is characterized by small friction resistance and high speed, which can be used to bear radial load or radial and axial simultaneous joint load parts, and can also be used for parts bearing axial load, such as low-power motors, automobile and tractor gearboxes, machine tool gearboxes, general machines, tools, etc

Basic parameters

Deep groove ball bearings are one of the most common types of rolling bearings.

Basic deep groove ball bearings consist of an outer ring, an inner ring, a set of steel balls and a set of holding frames. Deep groove ball bearing types have single row and double row two, deep groove ball structure is also divided into sealed and open two structures, open type means that the bearing does not have a sealed structure, sealed deep groove ball is divided into dust seal and oil seal. The dust-proof sealing cover material is stamped from steel, which simply prevents dust from entering the bearing raceway. The oil-proof type is a contact oil seal, which can effectively prevent grease spillage in the bearing.

Single row deep groove ball bearings have type designation 6 and double row deep groove ball bearings have code 4. Its structure is simple, easy to use, and it is the most common and widely used type of bearing

How it works

Deep groove ball bearings are mainly subjected to radial loads, but can also accommodate both radial and axial loads. When it is only subjected to radial loads, the contact angle is zero. When deep groove ball bearings have large radial clearance, they have the performance of angular contact bearings and can withstand large axial loads, and the friction coefficient of deep groove ball bearings is very small and the limiting speed is also very high.

Bearing characteristics

Deep groove ball bearings are the most commonly used rolling bearings. Its structure is simple and easy to use. It is mainly used to bear radial load, but when the radial clearance of the bearing is increased, it has a certain performance of angular contact ball bearings and can bear radial and axial combined loads. When the speed is high and thrust ball bearings are not suitable, they can also be used to bear pure axial loads. Compared to other types of bearings of the same size as deep groove ball bearings, these bearings have a small coefficient of friction and a high limiting speed. However, it is not resistant to impact and is not suitable for heavy loads.

Deep groove ball bearings mounted on the shaft can limit the axial displacement in both directions of the shaft or housing within the axial clearance range of the bearing, so they can be positioned axially in both directions. In addition, this type of bearing also has a certain aligning ability, when tilted 2′~10′ relative to the housing bore, it can still work normally, but it has a certain impact on bearing life.

Bearing construction

Deep groove ball bearings have a simple structure and are easy to achieve high manufacturing accuracy compared with other types, so they are convenient for mass production in series, and the manufacturing cost is also low, and the use is extremely common. In addition to the basic type, deep groove ball bearings also have various variant structures, such as: deep groove ball bearings with dust covers, deep groove ball bearings with rubber seals, deep groove ball bearings with stop grooves, deep groove ball bearings with large load capacity with ball notches, and double row deep groove ball bearings.

Bearing type

Deep groove ball bearings are mainly used to accommodate radial loads, but are also commonly used to accommodate radial and axial combined loads. Especially when the speed of mechanical equipment is very high and it is not suitable to use thrust bearings, the bearing can be used to bear pure axial load in both directions, and no maintenance is required during work, which is a kind of bearing with low price and wide use. Deep groove ball bearing types are: deep groove ball bearings (60000 type); Deep groove ball bearings with stop grooves on the outer ring (type 60000N); Deep groove ball bearings with shield on one side and stop groove on the outer ring on the other (type 60000-ZN); Deep groove ball bearings with shields on both sides and stop grooves on the outer ring (type 60000-2ZN); Deep groove ball bearing with shield on one side (type 60000Z); Deep groove ball bearings with shields on both sides (type 60000-2Z); Deep groove ball bearings with seals on one side (type 60000-LS, type 60000-RZ); Deep groove ball bearings with seals on both sides (type 60000-2LS, type 60000-2RZ); Deep groove ball bearings on the flange outer ring (type F60000); Deep groove ball bearings with flanged outer ring with shield on one side (type F60000-Z); There are 11 types of deep groove ball bearings (type F60000-2Z) with flanged outer ring with shields on both sides.

Purpose application

Deep groove ball bearings can be used in gearboxes, instrumentation, motors, household appliances, internal combustion engines, transportation vehicles, agricultural machinery, construction machinery, construction machinery, roller roller skates, yo-yos, etc

Installation method

Deep groove ball bearing installation method one: press-in fit: the inner ring of the bearing and the shaft make a tight fit, the outer ring and the housing bore are loose fit, the bearing can be pressed on the shaft first, and then the shaft is loaded into the housing bore together with the bearing, when pressing, on the end face of the inner ring of the bearing, pad a soft metal material made of mounting pipe (copper or mild steel), the outer ring of the bearing and the housing bore are tightly fitted, the inner ring and the shaft are loosely fitted, the bearing can be pressed into the housing bore first, the outer diameter of the matching tube should be slightly smaller than the diameter of the housing bore. If the bearing ring is closely matched with the shaft and housing bore, the installation inner ring and outer ring should be pressed into the shaft and housing bore at the same time, and the structure of the matching pipe should be able to clamp the end face of the inner ring and outer ring of the bearing at the same time.

Deep groove ball bearing installation method two: heating fit: by heating the bearing or housing, the thermal expansion is used to transform the tight fit into a loose fit installation method. It is a common and labor-saving installation method. This method is suitable for the installation of bearings with a large amount of interference, before hot installation, the bearing or separable bearing ring into the oil tank evenly heated 80-100 °C, and then taken out of the oil as soon as possible installed on the shaft, in order to prevent the inner ring end face and shaft shoulder after cooling is not tight, the bearing can be cooled and then axial tightening. When the outer ring of the bearing is closely matched to the light metal housing, the hot mounting method of heating the bearing housing can be used to avoid abrasion of the mating surface. When heating the bearing with the oil tank, there should be a grid at a certain distance from the bottom of the box, or hang the bearing with a hook, the bearing can not be placed on the bottom of the box to prevent impurities from entering the bearing or uneven heating, there must be a thermometer in the oil tank, and the oil temperature should not exceed 100 °C to prevent the tempering effect and reduce the hardness of the ferrule.

Clearance

The radial clearance of bearings is further divided into primary clearance, mounting clearance and working clearance. In general, the original radial clearance of the bearing is greater than the clearance when the bearing is operating. Clearance is an important technical parameter of bearings, which directly affects the bearing load distribution, vibration, noise, friction, service life and mechanical motion accuracy and other technical performance. Strictly speaking, the dynamic load rating of the bearing varies with the size of the clearance. The load ratings (C and C0) listed in the product catalogue are the load values at zero operating clearance. If the clearance is too large, it will cause the bearing internal bearing area to decrease, the stress of the rolling contact surface to increase, the motion accuracy of the bearing to decrease, the vibration and noise to increase, and the service life of the bearing to be shortened: if the clearance is too small, it will cause heating and heating, and even lead to the phenomenon of "biting" of the bearing in operation. Therefore, it is important to select different grades of bearing clearance according to the type of bearing and the operating conditions.

Notes

Deep groove ball bearings, the bearing load is too small during operation, which will cause sliding between the ball and the raceway, which will become the cause of abrasion. In particular, large deep groove ball bearings with high ball and cage weights have this tendency. In many cases, the bearing will be corroded, and there are many reasons for bearing rust, and the most common in our daily life are mainly the following factors:

1) Due to poor sealing device, it is invaded by moisture, dirt, etc.;

2) The bearing is not used for a long time, exceeds the rust-proof period, and lacks maintenance.

3) The roughness of the metal surface is large;

4) Contact with corrosive chemical medium, bearing cleaning is not clean, the surface is dirty, or contact with sweaty hands on the bearing, after the bearing is cleaned, it is not packaged or installed in time, long-term exposure to the air, and is attacked and contaminated by air moisture;

5) Ambient temperature and humidity and contact with various environmental media; The rust inhibitor fails or the quality does not meet the requirements.
