An HSNQ2 board receives mixed signals of STM-16/STM-64/OTU2/OTU2e services with the total bandwidth not higher than 40 Gbit/s from the backplane, encapsulates them into ODU0/ODU1/ODU2/ODUflex units, and transmits them out through optical ports.
An HSNQ2 board provides different functions and features, depending on the received signals. Table 1, Table 2, and Table 3 list the functions and features supported by an HSNQ2 board.

NOTICE: Licenses control the board capacity. One license allows a 10 Gbit/s capacity. Up to four licenses can be loaded to an HSNQ2 board. That is, an HSNQ2 board supports a maximum of 40 Gbit/s capacity. The capacity of an HSNQ2 board is the sum of the OTN service
capacity and SDH virtual port capacity.
