OptiX OSN 8800 is mainly used in national trunk lines, regional / provincial
trunk lines and metropolitan area networks. It integrates the
functions of ROADM, T-bit electrical cross, 100M-100G full-grain
scheduling, , 40G / 100G transmission, rich management and
protection functions, for operators to build end-to-end OTN / WDM
backbone transmission solutions to achieve large-capacity
scheduling and ultra-wideband intelligent transmission.
The OptiX OSN 8800 T64 / T32 / T16 can be configured as a complete OTN end-to-end network. It can
also be used with the OptiX BWS 1600G, OptiX OSN 1800, OptiX OSN
9800, and with NG-SDH / PTN or Datacom Equipment, mixed network, to
achieve a complete transmission solution.
HUAWEI OSN 8800 series
The OptiX OSN 8800 can interconnect with any product from the OptiX
OSN product series, such as the OptiX OSN 1800, to form an
end-to-end OTN network.
The OptiX OSN 8800 T16 mainly applies to the metropolitan
convergence layers. The OptiX OSN 8800 T32 and OptiX OSN 8800 T64
mainly apply to the backbone or metropolitan core layer.
The OptiX OSN 8800 can interconnect with the NG SDH equipment to
form a hybrid network, which results in a complete transport
solution. The OptiX OSN 8800 intelligent optical switching platform
(the OptiX OSN 8800 for short) functions as optical core switching
(OCS) equipment. It is mainly used as key service grooming nodes at
national backbones, provincial backbones, and metropolitan area
network (MAN) backbones.
The OptiX OSN 8800 T32/T16 supports unified switching and control
based on ODUk, VC, and packets, achieving unified switching and
transmission for multiple services on a single multi-service
optical transport network (MS-OTN).

5. Support submarine cable transmission, the leading 100G submarine cable program, support 100G without
electricity relay 7000 km transmission.
6. Provide 2M, 1588 V2 and synchronous Ethernet clock transmission, fully meet the WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, CDMA2000 and LTE / LTE-A clock
accuracy requirements.
7. Support 10G / 40G / 100G arbitrary channel OSNR optical power / BER
monitoring, real-time optical parameters on-line monitoring, enhance network

8. Integrated OTDR function, through the monitoring board for online OTDR detection of fiber
parameters, quickly locate the fiber failure point, locate the
fiber degradation point.
9. Support the evolution of T-SDN, enhance service delivery efficiency, simplify network operation
