Refractory Bricks Silicon Carbide Brick With Good Price
The silicon carbide brick is a refractory material made of SiC as the main raw material.Containing 72% ~ 99% SiC.It is divided into clay bound, Si3N4 bound, SiAlon bound, β-SiC bound, Si2ON2 bound and recrystallization silicon carbide bricks.Silicone carbide brick has high thermal conductivity, good wear resistance, thermal shock resistance and corrosion resistance.
It can be used for lining of aluminum electrolytic cell, molten aluminum conduit, kiln furniture for ceramic kiln, bottom part of furnace body, waist and belly of large and medium-sized blast furnace, lining of aluminum refining furnace, lining of zinc distillation tank, etc.
Silicone carbide brick • production process
Coarse, medium and fine SiC should be formulated as 5:1:4.The raw
material for manufacturing SiC brick is generally black SiC, and
its chemical composition is as follows: SiC 98.0%, free C O. 5%, Fe
0.2%, free SiO2 0.6%.Due to the different combination methods, the
process is different.The brief process of different combination
methods is as follows: (1) Si3N4 bonded silicon carbide brick: the
blank body formed by coarse, medium and fine Si3N4 particles and
fine silicon powder produces a kind of %26alpha at 1370℃ in pure N2
gas;-SiC as skeleton and with %26alpha;And % 26 beta;- Si3N4.The
silicon nitride bonded silicon carbide brick is the matrix.There is
a small amount of residual silicon and SiO2N2 in the matrix, and
the relative contents of these components vary from plant to
plant.(2) combined with silicon carbide brick: SiC, silicon powder,
carbon powder according to a certain ratio, mixing, molding,
burning in a reducing atmosphere at 1400℃.Buried charcoal burning
is used in most cases.During the firing process, a %26alpha is
produced;-SiC as the skeleton, with fine grain %26beta;-SiC is %
26Beta of matrix;-Si3N4 bonded SiC brick.%26beta;-SiC is produced
by the reaction of fine silicon powder and fine carbon powder
during sintering. This product also contains a small amount of
residual silicon and carbon.(3) SiO2 - Nitride bonded silicon
carbide brick: when this brick is mixed, the ratio of fine silicon
powder is less than Si.N.Combine the ratio of silicon carbide
brick.After molding, it was sintered at 1350 ~ 1400℃ in a N2 rich
atmosphere (requiring a certain O2 partial pressure).The finished
product is a kind of %26alpha;-SiC is the matrix of Si2ON2 binding
SiC brick, there are a small amount of Si and Si3N4 in the
matrix.(4) Cylon bonded silicon carbide brick: Si3N4 and Al2O3 fine
powder is added into the SiC with a certain particle size
ratio.After mixing, adding binder, mixing, molding, burning in
reducing atmosphere

According to the different combination ways, the specific
production process and performance of silicon carbide brick are as
follows:
First, silicon carbide brick combined with silica
All to silicon carbide particles and fine powder, with part of
silica, quartz fine powder as binder composition of products, are
silicon dioxide combined with silicon carbide products.
Such as the use of 90% different particle size of silicon carbide
and 5%-10% of the mixture of silica and calcium oxide powder (less
than 0.088mm), the mixing ratio of 8:2 or 9:1.An appropriate amount
of organic binder (pulp waste liquid, dextrin, methyl cellulose)
was added into the mud, which was pressed and formed by the brick
press, dried and fired at 1300 ~1400℃
Second, clay bonded silicon carbide brick
Clay combined with silicon carbide products are silicon carbide as
the main raw material, with clay as the binder fired refractory
products.The product has high thermal conductivity, thermal shock
resistance and good wear resistance.Used as lining brick for
aluminum refining furnace, distillation tank for zinc distillation
furnace and cooler for cement kiln.
Three, high aluminum combined with silicon carbide brick
(1) Production technology.Using silicon carbide (SiC 98.32%) and
Chenxi mullite as raw materials, the mullite combined silicon
carbide brick was made.SiC sand particle size is 8~5mm, 5~3mm,
3~1mm.The mixed fine powder is made of silicon carbide powder and
mullite powder, the particle size of which is less than
0.044mm.After batching, the material is mixed and trapped in the
mixing machine for 24h, and the material is formed on the vibration
pressure molding machine.The blank body was naturally dried for 15
days, dried for 15 days at 30 ~35℃, and baked for 6 days in a kiln
at 200 ~350℃.Products are fired in the inverted flame kiln.The
maximum sintering temperature is 1500℃, holding for 6 days, and the
total sintering time is 10 days.
(2) Physical and chemical properties.The physical and chemical
properties of mullite combined with SiC brick are as follows: SiO2
82%, mullite 15%, apparent porosity 17%~19%, volume density
2.54g/cm3, load softening temperature more than 1700℃, compressive
strength more than 110MPa, thermal shock resistance (1100℃ ~ water
cooling) more than 20 times.This kind of silicon carbide brick can
be used for iron outlet of ferroalloy electric furnace and ring
brick of blast furnace tuyeres.
