The refractoriness and softening temperature under load are similar to those of ordinary silica bricks with the same composition. Application of lightweight silica brick :
Lightweight silica brick is a very special material. In most cases, lightweight silica brick and dense silica brick are used as the light part of structural layer.
1. The light weight of glass kiln is commonly used, mainly the heat insulation of the kiln vault, so as to reduce the heat loss and increase the efficiency of the melting process.
2. The second area is used in the steelmaking industry, in which lightweight silica bricks are used for the lightweight of hot blast stove walls and domes.
