Silica firebrick is a kind of acid refractory material consisting mainly of scale quartz, calcite and a small amount of residual quartz and vitreous phase. Silica content in this brick is above 94%. True density 2.35g/cm3. It is resistant to acid slag. Higher high temperature strength. The initial temperature of load softening is 1620~1670℃. In high temperature for a long time without deformation. Silica firebrick technical data

Usage

1.Silica firebrick for glass furnace

Silica bricks for glass kilns refer to siliceous refractory products used in high temperature parts of glass kilns (not in contact with molten glass). The tank kiln is a large and complex masonry made of various refractory materials, and its vault mostly uses silica bricks. Some glass kilns also use silica bricks for the vault and checker bricks of the regenerator

2.Silica firebrick for hot blast furnace

(1) Under long-term high temperature and load conditions, the volume is stable, the high temperature creep rate is low, and it can be used continuously for one or two blast furnaces;

(2) Good performance above 600℃ The thermal shock resistance. Adapt to the variability of the temperature of the hot blast stove, keep the bricks and masonry intact;

(3) The chemical resistance is better
than clay bricks and general high alumina bricks.

(4) The thermal conductivity of silica bricks is larger than that of clay bricks and high alumina bricks, which is conducive to shorter Time to store and release heat.

3.Silica firebrick for coke oven

Silica bricks for coke ovens are mainly silica bricks, accounting for about 70% of the total refractory materials. It is the most suitable refractory brick for the furnace wall of the coking chamber. In the coking process, at the same time and with the same coal contact area, silica bricks can transfer more heat from the combustion chamber to the carbonization chamber, thus saving energy. The furnace wall itself also has a heat storage function.
