Primarily used in the printing industry, it is specially designed for photosensitive resin,rubber plate reprinting cylinder or sleeve fixing.
It is very convenient and helps to improve production efficiency.
(1) The temperature has a great influence on the use of the plate-mounting tape, so all operations on the plate-mounting tape should be carried out at room temperature to avoid affecting the bonding force of the plate-mounting tape due to temperature.
(2) Before the plate is pasted, the surface of the printing plate and the plate cylinder (or plate mounting sleeve) should be kept clean. This is because dust, rust, ink and other dirt will affect the adhesive force of the plate-mounting tape, resulting in poor adhesion of the printing plate and warping of the plate. Strong alcohols should be used when cleaning plates and sleeves, as other chemical solvents may corrode the plates and sleeves.
(3) When attaching the plate, the area of the plate-mounting tape should be wider than the area of the printing plate, which can greatly reduce the risk of plate warping.
(4) When attaching the plate, the interface of the printing plate should avoid the interface of the plate-mounting tape, otherwise it is easy to cause problems of being warped or fall off.
(5) When pasting the plate-mounting tape on the surface of the printing plate cylinder or the plate-mounting sleeve, it is recommended to use a scraper instead hand.
(6) After the printing plate is pasted, in order to prevent the ink and solvent from contacting the adhesive on the edge of the printing plate during printing and cleaning, thereby affecting the stickiness of the plate-mounting tape, a circle of edge-sealing tape should be pasted around the printing plate. In this way, it can also avoid warping of the printing plate.
(7) When unloading the plate, it is recommended to unload the printing plate slowly and smoothly at an angle of less than 90° (the tangent angle between the printing plate and the printing plate cylinder or the surface of the plate sleeve), so as to avoid the printing plate wrinkling or rupture.
