Hex domed cap nut has domed cap on the head that protect threads or prevent other things into threads hole , dome nut is also known as acorn nut ,cap nut and dome cap nut , the hex body with machine screw threads that is anchored by a thread bolt or screw .
Hex domed cap nuts with self-locking ( a plastic ring around the bottom of hex section ) function that provides a tight thread friction to prevent dome nuts from vibrating loose .

Mechanical Torque
Hex domed cap nuts should be screwed by a monkey spanner with given torque , put much torque will break threads and scratch surface of dome nut , different grades different torque
