1. Speed limiter/governor Device
a device whose primary function is to control feed to the engine in
order to limit the vehicle speed to the specified value. The
purpose of the Speed limiter device is to limit the maximum road
speed for vehicles to a specified value without affecting the other
performance parameters of the vehicle in any manner.
2.Speed limiter GPS Tracking Main functions
- Positioning and Tracking: Through the on-line Positioning Platform
or the cell phone to locates at times, and get the working status.
You can choose the Positioning Platform by yourself.
- Remote controlling oil and circuit: you can control the oil and
circuit via the device by SMS in anywhere and anytime.
- Overspeed Alert: Send SMS to the device to start the movement alert
function. When the vehicle is overspeed, the device will send the
overspeed alert to all authorized numbers.
- Restart the device: send SMS to resume the default of device.
- Movement Alert: Send SMS to the device to start the movement alert
function. When the vehicle is moving, the device will send the
movement alert to all authorized numbers.

4. Speed Limiter Requirements

- Speed limiter devices shall have a built in / integrated GPS;
- Speed limiter devices shall be designed, constructed, assembled and
fitted to the vehicle that it will perform satisfactorily, despite
the vibrations and temperature to which it may be subjected.
- Speed limiter devices shall be calibrated and maintained in a good
working order and capable to limit the speed of a vehicle at the
set speed as stipulated by the regulatory body;
- Speed limiter device shall be so designed, constructed and
assembled and fitted to the vehicle to make it maximum tamper proof
and fail safe, against various factors such as disconnection /
failure of various components e.g. power supply, speed sensor,
mechanical actuator system, linkages etc. or any unauthorized
modification and adjustment to the system. - The speed limiter device systems shall be "failsafe" in such a way
that if the plug/s to the electronic controller is/are removed,
power is disconnected or if the speed signal and/or wire is
disconnected the vehicle shall automatically, default to a limp
mode or the engine shall stall or return to idle or, at least, and
thus shall not be able to be driven in excess of thirty kilometers
per hour. (30km/h);
- The speed limiter function or road speed limiter shall not
interfere with the brake system of the vehicle.

- The road speed limiting device shall have in built features that
allow functionality checks and shall have special inspection
devices for this purpose to facilitate the checking when the
vehicle is not in motion ;
- The speed limiter function or the road speed limiter shall not
cause uncontrolled engine power;
- No malfunction or unauthorized interference shall result in an
increase in engine power above the demanded by the position of the
driver's accelerator. The malfunction of the speed limiter devices
shall not affect the normal vehicular performance;
- The speed limiter function or the speed limiter device shall allow
normal accelerator control for the purpose of gear changing.
