These jars are great for a variety of things. I have ordered them twice. I keep some homemade spice blends in them in my cabinet. I have used them for gifts--filled with honey or vanilla bean infused sugar. I might even use them to gift some bath salts. While these are probably meant for other uses, I find that their square shape makes them very efficiemt for storing small hardware (screws, nails and bolts).
