These flexible, secure, and borderless switches come equipped with Cisco’s LAN Lite software and operate on Layer 2 of the OSI model. These switches also feature an increased level of configurability including 10/100 desktop connectivity, dual-purpose uplinks and PoE.

These switches feature Cisco's EnergyWise technology which provides visibility into the energy consumption of each device on the network. This visibility allows operators to gain additional insights into energy usage and costs and therefore allows operators to easily identify inefficient systems, configurations, and operational practices. This deeper level of understanding ultimately promotes reduced energy usage and reduced costs.

Additionally, these switches feature Cisco’s Borderless Networks architecture. This innovative technology removes location and device borders thus allowing users to connect any device from anywhere at any time. Borderless networks allow for increased mobility and provide the new workspace experience demanded by today’s users.
