Introduction of fire rated bricks:
Clay brick refers to the Al2O3 content of 30%~40% aluminum silicate material adhesive soil products.
Clay Brick is the use of 50% soft clay and 50% hard clay clinker, according to a certain granularity requirements for ingredients, after molding, drying, in the 1300~1400℃ of high temperature sintering. The mineral composition of clay brick is mainly the impurities of kaolinite (Al2O3•2SiO2•2H2O) and 6%~7% (potassium, sodium, calcium, titanium, iron oxides). The sintering process of clay brick is mainly the process of continuous dehydration and decomposition of kaolinite to produce mullite (3Al2O3•2SiO2) crystallization. In the process of sintering, the SiO2 and Al2O3 in the clay brick form the silicate with the impurities and the low melting point of the eutectic, which surrounds the crystallization around the Mullite stone.
Clay brick belongs to weak acidic refractory products, can resist the erosion of acidic slag and acidic gas, clay brick thermal performance is good, resistant to acute cold and hot. The refractory degree of clay brick is equal to that of silicon brick, up to 1690~1730℃, in the temperature range of 0~1000℃, the volume of clay brick expands evenly with the increase of temperature, the line expansion curve is similar to a straight line, the line expansion rate is 0.6%~0.7%, and only about half of the silicon brick. When the temperature is up to 1200 ℃ and then continues to heat up, its volume will start to shrink from the expansion maximum.
