Micro Torque Meter Flanged Thou-hole Miniature Reaction Torque Load Cell
Flange to flange through hole miniature torque sensor FTFQ is strain gauge based intended for reaction torque measurement in both clockwise and anticlockwise direction. Micro torque transducer FTFQ offers 0.2Nm / 0.5Nm / 1Nm / 2Nm / 5Nm / 10Nm six rated capacities to choose from, high accracy with maximum 0.3% non-linearity of the full scale. End flanges located on both sides of the torque meter can be used for bolting between mounting plates, the compact size makes torque cell FTFQ suitable for torque measurement applications where mounting space is limited. Static torque sensor FTFQ can be modified or customized as per client's request to meet requirements of different applications.

A torque sensor is a transducer that converts a torsional mechanial input into an electrical output signal. Micro torque sensor FTFQ is designed to measure non-rotating torque which is also known as reaction torque. Miniature torque transducer FTFQ utilizes strain gauge technology,compact size,dual-flange design,analog output,working with signal conditioner can get ±5V,±10V,0-5V,0-10V or 4-20mA output which is proportional to applied torque.The measured torque can also be display through torque indicator.
Brief instruction of Rated output(or Sensitivity):
Definition: The signal produced by load cell(or force transducer) when rated load is applied, expressed in terms of mV/V. The rated output indicates the output signal range of a sensor.
Sensor output = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of torque load cell FTFQ is normally around 1.0mV/V.
Power supply of micro torque transducer FTFQ is normally within 3-12V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of reaction torque meter FTFQ is normally within -12mV...+12mV for bidirectional torque measurement.
Example: Static torque sensor FTFQ-5NM with 1.0mV/V powered by 10V DC,the output range is -10mV...+10mV proportional to the torque applied, positive output for clockwise torque, negetive output for CCW torsion.
