RVB, commonly known as red and black (parallel) wires, is a flat unsheathed flexible wire, which is extruded from a red and a black insulated copper wire in parallel, and its name is derived from this.

Code R means flexible wire (conductor structure).

The code V represents polyvinyl chloride (sheath material).

Code B means parallel (wire shape).
