This specification shows technical, functional and layout features
of “Heat Shrink Fiber Optic Fusion Splice
The sleeve is made by hot-melt adhesive – Ethylene Vinyl Acetate
(EVA) or Polyethylene (PE) – internally and by irradiation
cross-linked polyolefin heat shrinkable tubing externally.
There is also a reinforcing pin made by deburred and polished
stainless steel. Please refer to the picture below.
