FA-OC-GYTC8S-12, GYTC8S Figure 8 Outdoor Fiber Optical Cable Self-supporting For Aerial 12 Fibers

 

The 250µm colored fibers are positioned into a loose tube made of high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with water-resistant filling compound. A steel wire locates in the center of core as central metallic strength member. The loose tubes (or fillers) are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular cable core. After an Aluminum Polyethylene Laminate (APL) moisture barrier wrap around the cable core, this part of cable accompanied with the stranded wires as the supporting member are completed with a polyethylene (PE) outer jacket to be figure 8 structure.

Special self-support design is for aerial installation

Central loose tubes with jelly compound inside to protect the cladding fiber

Corrugated steel tape laminated with plastic at both sides bonding to PE sheath

Incorporates stranded steel messenger wire

Messenger wire as self-supporting part, high tensile strength and easy for erection

Suitable for outdoor communication, long haul telecommunication, local area network ( LAN) communication

High tensile strength of stranded wires meet the requirement of self-supporting and reduce the installation cost

Storage and operating temperature range: -40℃ to +70℃
